This vibrant collection of printed notebooks is made in collaboration with Goa based artist Ragini Dhingra of Studio Paddy Fields.

The source and inspiration of Ragini's prints comes from her fascinating observation of the vibrant, loud and colourful attires/clothing of the local fisherwomen and a simple childhood hobby of collecting match boxes.

With 5 prints to choose from, we're sure you'll find a design that suits your style. Printed on 220 GSM recycled cotton handmade paper, each book is filled with your choice of 100 GSM reycled paper (best for writing & sketching) or 85 GSM recycled cotton handmade paper (also suitable for inks & watercolour) with the option of blank, lined, dots or grids.

Ragini Dhingra has done her BFA from MSU, Baroda and College of Art, Delhi. Her MA in Design Practice was completed from Goldsmiths University, London.

She is a freelance visual artist and is based in South Goa. At her studio (@studiopaddyfields), she creates original art works, prints, and products in mixed media that portray Goa in its happy hues.

Her current series of works are inspired by fisherwomen from the local village markets and her interactions with the women who work in the paddy fields. The patterns, colours and design of their attire instantly made her want to capture these women who bring Goa alive with their loud fabrics, bold voices and boisterous postures.

Ragini has used various mediums such as Acrylic and Waterproof ink on paper, and hand-stitching on cloth to execute her works. Her compositions are an ode to their coastal couture, and a vibrant tribute to their passionate personas!
